Good news overall but not so much with the dog, Foxy. :( I'll add crossing even my eyes to crossing all my toes and fingers for you. Hopefully the social worker looks at the bigger picture for your grandson's best interests and can see past the nip. :kissing_heart:

Most of the crossable things I have are crossed for you @Foxy1 although it does make life just a wee bit complicated sometimes! Worth it if it helps you get the right result though.:grinning:

Well, the saga continues. Another day of highs and lows. We got a call sayin that mi son has bin accepted for a flat, and should move in on October 2nd, which is perfect for us.
Than I got a call from t'social services sayin that mi grandson can't be released to us whilst we've got t'bull dog. Cue more tears and frustration, after the high of this morning.

Fecking hell, you and your wife are on a hell of a rollercoaster. I can't imagine the emotional stress you both must be going through, and simply for wanting to do the right and best thing for all concerned.

I really hope things work out for the best for you soon :)

What in the hell does a bull dog have to do with it? Call PETA and tell them the services hate animals.

Blimey @Foxy1 it get's more and more stressful for you both mate, you should have bit the social worker instead the trouble they cause, let the lad look after him for a wee while and then migrate back and forth when they come a visiting

    Well, that isn't good . . .

Just tell them the child isn't a social worker so he should be safe.

Stick at it Foxy lad! You have done the hard bits. I am sure there will be a good mate or neighbour that can take the dog?!

Well, things are moving apace now. After last weeks bad news about t'dog, we've sorted t'situation now. He's going back to t'bloke we bought it off, as his wifes surgery has bin put back, until mi daughter gets a house. We also have a back up, if that dunt work out.
Even better, we had him overnight Sunday. We fetched him Sunday mornin, and took him back Monday afternoon. It was fantastic, we absolutely loved it.:) We're hoping to have him 2 nighrts next weekend, Sunday 'til Tuesday. Best birthday present I could hope for, to wake up wi mi Grandson!!
Also, we've got mi son a flat, and he gets keys on October 2nd, which is t'day after t'court day. Perfect!!!
So, all in all, we're in a good place at this present moment. Just waitin for t'kick int ballax again now...............
