Hi all, after two or three fills I appear to be getting about 74 mpg how does that compare with others ? I dont ride hard, thos days are over!
that sounds very good I've never ridden a Bonneville but I'd of thought 50- 60mpg would be average..maybe some owners will be along soon
Hey Phantom, that sounds impressive alright. The best I ever get is close to 60mpg, and that's when doing open road. In urban traffic, I'm usually around 45~50mpg. A big difference from my old KTM Duke, which did give me around 70mpg. From my experience, the Bonnie is not a very economical bike (I have a 2011 EFI T100). I did read somewhere that the new 2016 models have much improved consumption.
Yip..... i'm getting around 71-72 mpg on my Street Twin too. I'm rarely over 60 mph on it though so that'll have something to do with it.
I don't mind the mpg I just like to know when to fill up. So it's about 200 miles to the light. Hopefully that leaves me 50 miles until I have to push Andy
My 2008 efi America does 56mpg two up now its 904cc , almost run in the new engine (7,000klms) was about mid 30's early after rebore. And was closer to 60mpg before reworking the engine to 904cc.
Sounds about right for a Bandit 12 ridden enthusiastically Best I've done on my 12 while having fun is 90 miles out of a tankful, it's normally about 110ish
Just worked mine out from today's fill and ride on 57 mpg, considering how I ride I am fairly impressed
Mines just returned 60.4 mpg from a mainly enthusiastic run to the other side of Chichester and back - fast A roads, some dual carriageway and some town use.
2012 Bonneville EFI Ridden hardish (well for me) I get between 40-45mpg Motorway, getting around 70mpg Very pleased really to say the performance you get
When I got my T100 Black new a year ago running in I was getting mid 40s now solo fairly gentle! I can get early 60s and two up 50 to 54 that's with Tors and a slight remap from dealer, I rode a Honda Nc750s for three weeks last year and that returned 70plus no problem!
I regularly got 160-175 out of a tank full of mixed town/runs, better since I put the 19t front sprocket on. Still seems to pull away easy enough with 2 up too!
I've just checked the fuel Trixie consumed this morning and expressing it in "ye olde English style" it came out as 74.3 mpg. Bloody good job too as fuel prices have gone through the roof here !!!!!!!
I scrolled through the menu options on the way back from Jacks Hill Caff on Sunday after chatting about mpg with DD and Half Ton. Normally I don't bother looking as it's a toy effectively and not something I really care too much about as long as it's not a crippling cost. Could not believe it said 70.1 average over its first year. I know I was taking it easy for the first few months building up the revs and all but even so...
