Hi as I’ve got the ABBA stand with the front wheel lift bit I thought I’d remove the wheel for a new tyre instead of paying the tyre place. Bad move! I haven’t got a 17mm hex head socket. No worries says I, a 17mm bolt with two nuts looked together should suffice. Que mucho swearing. Couldn’t budge it. Yes I’ve removed the two pinch bolts. Been out on me push bike to try n buy one no joy this evening so will get one in the morn. Has anyone else removed the wheel and did you encounter any problems? AFAIK the spindle is 65nm? Buggered if I could budge it.
Nice to see that you do the hang the calipers over the levers thing, I find it helps me stop squeezing the front brake lever while the calipers are off (don't ask me why I do it, but I just can't resist giving the lever a little tug ).
