I’m looking for an option for a front paddock stand for my 2019 1050RS. I have a rear stand and have used front ones in the past with other bikes but they all have arms which stick out to the front.
My parking position - because of the ground anchor is such that I don’t have a huge amount of clearance between the front wheel and the garage door so I’m looking for something which doesn’t stick out much. Does anyone use the centre pin ones??

I use an Abba stand and a jack under the exhaust to get the front wheel off the ground.

I use Pit Bull stands. The arms are removable. The bike can be pushed around on the rear stand, which makes it easy to push into place.

Biketek do one for about £40 that projects maybe 6” in front of the front tyre.

+1 on the PitBull. Been using the same stands for years.

Can’t get Pitbull stands in the UK unfortunately. There’s no official importer.
Id have some if there was. They have some great features.

I’m now having to get an Abba stand so I can remove yokes and swing arm to grease them for 12,000 mile service, so you would need one if that’s what you need to do.

Yup, but already have the jack, so use that instead.

I have the Pitbull rear and head-lift stands, and can recommend.

As a Brit living in Singapore, it can be really difficult to get stuff like this....

Consequently I would recommend a vendor such as RevZilla, plus a freight forwarding service (something like Shop&Ship or myUS should work). Note this can get expensive, but it does give you access to otherwise difficult to source products.

    Hope it helps. David.

PS. RevZilla ship worldwide at reasonable rates. However, some products are US only due to manufacturer restrictions, so they won't ship them to the UK - PitBull and Shoei are two that come to mind. A freight forwarding service is a handy way around such issues.

If your dont have the need to raise the front wheel, and only secure the bike in the upright position.
A front wheel choke is a great solution, as it does not require much area beyond the front wheel itself.
Baxley make very good quality products and not terribly expensive.
