    1963 Lambretta LI125
I bought this a couple for years ago but have had little chance to use it. It was restored by the previous owner. It seems pointless to have it sat in the garage under a cover so selling hopefully to someone who can make more use of it. Message me for more info/pics.
    £3000. Located in York.

Not sure how to private message. Has the engine been restored? Do you have the v5 and does it have its original engine. Was it a uk supplied bike?

In that condition its probably worth a lot more. You want to get it on some of the scooter forums. Depending on the condition which looks original to me and service history I think you could get another couple of grand for that model.
    Regards
    Joe.

Lambrettas are more valuable than the equivalent Vespas. Very rare and valuable nowadays especially If it’s a genuine one made in Italy. They were made under license in other countries.
I used to own a Vespa Rally 180 from 1967 but sold it after a while as it was too slow for the highways and where I live there was just nowhere to ride it. Maximum speed of 100km an hour and the vibrations through the handlebars made it difficult to ride anywhere for long. It had an interesting history to it.

  11. Hi Samz
As a Lambretta owner for last 35+ years on the face of it the price is about right. You don't say what spec the engine is, if its a "standard" / on points or had an upgrade kit / electrics . Seen it on the LCGB website so think you're right placing it there.

Thing is a restored Lambretta is not worth big money, particulary the work a day LI model, if it was an SX200 or GP200 Electronic UK registered from new and in unrestored condition it would be £7-8k. All for the sake of a couple of numbers stamped on the scaffolding tube!

Plus side is its a 125 and as such CBT friendly

    Good Luck with it mate

I agree with IanF..... I've also been Lambretta (and Vespa) owner for the past 35+ years

I saw this on the LCGB forum. Nice looking scoot. Is the engine standard or has it been uprated?

It’s running 12v electronic ignition. 22mm scootopia carb, (dellorto copy). Big bore clubman exhaust. I was told it has a 175cc top end. Not had it apart to check tho.
