Hi grey fox, a really good choice you are making, personally I think the Tuono is way ahead of the Speed Triple especially with the electronic ride aids, post some pictures when you take delivery of your new machine. I bought a Speed Triple 1050 for my son not long ago, like you he could not get on with it so we traded it in at our local Triumph Dealership for a new Katana, he loves it especially being back on a 4 cylinder machine, as long as we all keep riding as we are able to is the main thing for me, I just love all motorcycles. Ride safe all.
