Well picked up my 2019 Thruxton R less than a month ago and already have a flat! Working away at the moment and my wife phoned to say my back tyre was totally flat. I had a mate go round for a look and he used some snoop to confirm its leaking around the valve. I had read a few threads about this before but assumed Triumph would be using stronger tubes by 2019. I’m going to try to get it fixed under warranty. Are there any tube manufacturers recommend which are stronger than the supplied brand? Not very happy about this at all and don’t want to be riding around constantly thinking my bike has a rather dangerous achilles heal. Probably going to have to look at tubeless options now. Not a great start.
It was a local triumph dealer I bought the bike from and it was an ex demo. There was a 6 month warranty included in the purchase so I’m hoping this will cover it. Fingers crossed!
