Remember seeing this bike a few years ago and thought it looked absolutely fantastic. 8 ball paint work.
Oof. It's always the simplest things. Upended my '74 Tiger years ago in a gravel parking lot doing a tight slow turn, breaking off the signal and mirror. Much more personally degrading than when I actually crashed it. Had my Laverda RGA pin me to the ground when the spring loaded kickstand missed the mark. Took a while to get free, as the engine fins were cooking odd patterns in my leg. That's a nasty dent. Buying new tank or living with it? Knocking it out seems futile. Chin up now.
Sometimes the "girly way" of doing things is a good way to do them! Sorry about your drop, @Jewksey. But, yes, we all (or nearly all) have done it at one time or another. And as you said, at least it wasn't at speed. Plus it has presented you with a nice opportunity to change up your paint scheme if you so choose. We'll all looking forward to seeing photos of your bike after it's repainted!
yeah that’s it I guess the simplest thing has resulted in this so embarrassing but god dame it’s better than an actual drop at speed so I’m just telling my self that lmao
thank you I’ve decided one thing at least the tank badges can be changed to the embossed ones as I think they look nice and I’m leaning more towards matte black but if I’m honest your all saying bad idea so certainly not fixed on colour yet but I’ll be sure to update the feed with pics once I’ve done it thanks

Had a similar dink on my race bike last year after on off, my paint guy had it filled & painted within a week & you couldn't tell afterwards, may be the way rather than shell out a load of wedge, plus they do look nice in Phantom Black!
Welcome to the dent-ists club. or, if you're after a slightl;y different theme, ask your painter if he can work something out along the lines of this, maybe ...
I would wait a while before repainting. These things always happen in threes. But silver lining to the cloud is you can get a paint job you really want and a chance to make the bike a bit different
I’ve actually owned a matte black bike and really liked it. Mr. Sandi’s current motorcycle is matte black too and he likes it, too. I honestly think it’s more difficult to keep up shiny black because they seem to show every little scratch if you wipe them with anything but the most pristine microfiber rag. That said, shiny black certainly does look beautiful! We all have our opinion here on the forum – clearly! – so go with your own taste and heart, @Jewksey.
oooo...that hurts But it happens, did it my self last year, with 30 years of experience But I have crash bars on, so dodnt cost me. I would go matte black
yeah madness it’s I’ve got all the crash protection stuff just dropped against the dame door frame lol ..
