Hi all Been seeing more and more comments around the web about issues concerning ethanol in fuel. One thing I have seen is a kit from a company called ethanil. co. uk. It uses pastic containers to separate the ethanol from the petrol using water (see the website for better description!!!). It's not ideal for day to day riding but good to mix a tankful of pure petrol to run through the carbs/injectors prior to storage. You then have an ethanol free fuel system and tank. Haven't tried it yet but will be soon.
Quality! I think this process was developed by alcoholics so they can get the ethanol out of the petrol to drink it.
Coming from zummerzet I find a gallon of scrumpy has the same effect. Now where be thik blackbird to? Us tractor huggers take awhile to get these computer things sussed so will have to be patient with me and I may learn how to do links one day.
Anyone tried additives like millers to tackle ethanol issues, seems super in westcounty still has the crap in it?
