Next week I'm off across the middle of England to visit the land of daffodils, leeks and knights for work. I'm going on my Tiger as they are paying me mileage so I was looking for likely places to stop en route to refuel me and the bike. I'm going to stop at the Super Sausage near Milton Keynes but I can't seem to find any other eateries. I am avoiding motorways and have picked a route via MK, Buckingham, Chipping Norton, Tewkesbury, Ross-On-Wye and down to Cwmbran with a similar return route - not exactly the same as that would be boring. Any suggestions on where is good to visit for food/tea??

I’d recommend The Old Mill Coffee House West Street, Chipping Norton OX7 5LH. Nice independently run traditional cafe with waitress service, usually on road parking outside but public car park very close by.
