Just brought the Ghost X helmet cam .Like it but I did not buy the extra external mike ,just the standard inboard mike .Now I have used it I am getting quite a bit of wind noise from the internal mike Is it worth buying the Drift Ghost X external mike that fits the Ghost X helmet cam and will it cut out some of the wind noise ???
It's a good cam with some serious battery life. You can cover the external mic with a little cut out thin sponge and I believe that helps reduce the wind noise. The external mic will do the job too depending on where you are placing the mic.
