So this was me on the A16 today........................ I shoulda checked how much go-juice I had !! (nearest garage was 8 miles) Luckily my (much) better half came to my rescue with 5l of best unleaded.. Also thanks to the bikers who stopped to see if I was OK, one even offered to get petrol So in future 1, check fuel. 2, check phone, 3, don't be a dullard... PS. my phone died after taking this photo !!!

I had the bike in a garage getting the top end looked at, the mechanic took it out for a spin and put it on reserve but didn't tell me. I rode it thinking I still had the reserve tank.........................
