Yes Daytona gortex boots are my go to boots for touring. I also have a pair of BKS lace up casual boots for day to day riding.
Must have reduced the total from this to six pairs? There are 8 or 9 possibly more pair's of boots in this pic ..... ??
No, I found others I had forgotten about, under my 20_25 motorcycle jackets, there's alpinestars, dainese & gaerne in there 2,
I have a pair of TCX and they fit really comfy. The gearlever did wear the stitching through the top of the toes after two years which I've had repaired (cobblers) but they've impressed me enough that irrespective I would buy again.
I'm actually still on that same pair of TCX now. Still going strong and they completed yet another Scotland tour a few months ago in really rotten conditions. Feet were bone dry the whole time (wish I could say the same for my crotch). Soles still look good too, they are usually the first thing to wear through with me. Very very impressed with the quality and comfort of these boots.
I think these are mine or something very similar...... https://jsaccessories.co.uk/product...dcCRLqY6VXup5Ysi0aAqODEALw_wcB&variant=110883
Here are mine, well worn but still performing brilliantly Edit: these are easily 3 or 4 years old now, maybe on their 5th year I really cant remember and god knows how many miles covered. 40k at a guess. They have been worn exclusively as I only have one other pair of boots which I only wore on my last KTM (daytons funny enough). I gave them a clean and polish at the start of this year
Daytona Road Star GTX. The double zip closure mean at the end of a full days ride when my feet are hot and swollen they can be removed with very little effort once fully unzipped.
Sidi Canyon Gore Tex boots, waterproof, has some protection, and comfortable off the bike too if your out touring for awhile. they even look decent with a pair of jeans over the top or tucked in. many ppl have reported having these boots for 10 yrs with no problems
Daytona Road Stars ~ all season, very comfortable and have always been dry with plenty of armour. I’m on my 2nd pair ~ the first lasted 10 years with one minor repair. Hope that helps, Hamish.
Altburg, I bought mine at the last BMF show at Peterborough and have worn them every ride since , except when they were back at Altburg for resoling as I do a lot of walking when on camping rallies. Probably 70 or 80 thiusand miles.
