The mongol rally is one very similar to what you’re talking about, a friend of mines son is going to try it
Just to let you know where I have been for the last few days, I have gone from stage 2 to stage 3 cancer. GET YOURSELVES CHECKED OUT FOR GOODNESS SAKE. DO NOT LEAVE IT TILL THE LAST MINUTE. Otherwise coping, treatment is crap, leaves you feeling crap and friends as well. Not nice to find out it has gone a bit south. So do what you can to help rid the world of this insidious disease called cancer. Even it it means just being there physically and saying nothing it means a lot to people. I will not say, Do not weep, for not all tears are an evil.
Not quite sure what to say. Hang in there, fella. Wish you lots of strength. I'll be riding here in Amersfoort on the 30th.
Just had another round of chemo. Man I feel crap. I'm hoping to make the 30th but with yet another round to go, who knows ?. There is a storm on the horizon. A time of hardship and pain. This battle has been won, but the war against cancer races on. Cancer's global network remains strong, but we will not quit, until all of it is destroyed. This is Help me Obi Wan. There is no fate, but what we make. Apologies to Terminator Salvation.
There's probably a lot of us that don't know what to say, but hang on in there Obi Wan. You are in our thoughts mate.
Hi, Just joined the forum after only recently acquiring a Bonny T100. signed up to the Bristol ride...Can't wait! only issue though....Hoggin the Bridge is the same day! anyone else disappointed about this?
I'm so sorry to say I won't be able to make the ride, due to chemo knocking the crap out of me. This is my 6th time for chemo in the last couple of weeks and have only now been able to sit up in bed and actually do something other than being sick and unable to keep anything down. Please raise awareness to cancer in all its forms and ride safe. The Rebellion is reborn today. The war is just beginning. And I will not be the last Jedi.
Well, from a fellow Scouser I can only guarantee that you'll be beside me on Sunday - at least in MY heart and mind. Stay as strong as you possibly can and know we're all rooting for yer, ar kid. Adie
Globally, the DGR has raised over 5 and a half million dollars so far this year! Surely this can only be seen as a good thing? Enjoy the ride Gentlmen. Stay safe. If any forum members are on the West Sussex ride, come say "Hi", it'll be a pleasure to ride alongside you.
I am going to the Bristol DGR this morning. Obi, this one is for you, hang in there. We are all thinking of you. Stay safe.
