Disconnecting Battery

And if you forget to reset the clock you will turn up to things wondering where everyone else is... After the second time I checked it back to my watch and called myself a few choice names.

 

Lord, if disconnecting the battery like this would cause problems my '17 T100 would be a basket case by now. I've disconnected it tons of time fiddling with electrical add ons, while gone for a month, or when I foolishly ran the battery down at a pub and took the battery home to recharge. Never had a problem, never has the service wrench come on, never had to reset anything. All was a big non-event. Might be because it's a newer bike/ecu.

 

3 switch on / switch off cycles (SOSO) will reset it.
Obviously as long as the fault no longer exists.
So if you took the battery out put it back, do the 3 SOSO and hey presto the engine management light should go off.
IF it remains on then get an OBD reader ( or tunecu) and look to see why it’s on before going to the likes of triumph
