Yep......that definitely made me feel better When I was school age a mate of mine did the same thing after we'd been swimming Took him to A&E so a nurse could release him....we couldn't do anything for laughing
Ha, bet I'm more stupid than anyone else (is this a competition and is there a prize) - altercation with a ride on mower which tends to clog up, easy fix, foot off the mower pedal, pull the grass out with your hand, remove hand put foot down on mower pedal, done it 500+ times - must have got the sequence slightly confused, wham, took a big slice off the end of my middle finger, just hanging by a piece of skin. Phoned my son told him to bring clean water, scissors and plasters, washed it, let it bleed for about 10 minutes to clean itself up nicely, put the flap of skin back in place and secured it with thin strips of plaster - this is called 'bush surgery' where I come from, learned it in the army - four weeks later it's almost perfect except it's slightly flatter than the other hand and there will be a clear scar. I didn't cry either! So who's going to send me a lollipop (we call them suckers).
Good bit of bush surgery, but I would advise using a bit of bush to clear the grass out rather than your hand. Lucky this time!
Well with the flap of skin and flesh hanging by not very much I did have to be quite careful and I did wash it well with clean water. It's well healed by now and looks pretty much like the left hand now except for a distinct scar and being slightly flat on top.
It was the bitter twist at the end that got out of hand and bit his finger and he still didn't get a wollypop
