Brass oil filler cap and ribbed sprocket cover with polished fins, ribbed side panels, finned carb tops and titanium exhaust wrap.

Other picture shows ballista style brass valve stem caps and some cool rubberised tyre pen paint I fancied giving a whirl.

Absolutely delighted with the work that’s gone into this. The black alternator cover off a bonnie successfully fitted to the bike along with a powder coated clutch cover. Black clutch and brake levers fitted. Chrome and or titanium bolts fitted throughout as well. Yellow headlight film and super bright bulb went on just now.

I’m going to leave the wheels as they are (instead of powder coating black which I think would’ve been too much) and just work on cleaning/polishing bits up now. Couple of brass extras to come and then I’ll pretty much be done.

The cases look great! In fact the whole bike is looking really smart!

And I’m not sure I believe “and then I’m pretty much done”...I’ve said that soooo many times before!

I’m almost done. Gold chain and sprockets to come plus a ton of cleaning/polishing the dirty old metal parts.

Cafe Racer seat from Tamarit Motorcycles the latest addition, feels fantastic when riding.

I’ve also started to get into ‘ageing’ the brass bits on the bike so they look less shiny/new and have a bit of character about them.

Swapped out my previous indicators which were kind of on the chunky side for these tiny but incredibly bright micro LED indicators. Haven’t done the back as of yet but already make it look more streamline.

New seat looks really nice, suits the overall style better than the previous flat one. Gives it a more aggressive look.
I prefer the chunkier indicators what make are they?

Ta swampy, yeah the seat definitely suits the bike.

The front indicators didn’t bother me on the front but with the new seat/cowl they sort of stuck out a bit and looked a little odd, they were almost too noticeable.

Haven’t swapped the ones on the back end yet.

The chunkier indicators are Motone billet indicators so are really nice and very well made, I’ll have them up on eBay though in the next few days.

Finally got round to fitting the micro LED indicators to the rear. Ended up having to get some resistors on each side as the flash rate was all messed up.

Choose to mount the indicators to the top of the shocks and also removed the old brackets on the tail light where the previous indicators were. A lot more discreet and streamline now I think, plus they’re incredibly bright.

Friday just gone went for bit of a ride with Matt and his Thruxton 1200. Met up at Ryka’s at the bottom of Box Hill for a coffee and a chat before heading out on the bikes.

Despite seeming to get stuck behind every white van, learner driver or sets of flow lights in the area we had a blast and I’m sure we will be doing it again soon.

Didn’t grab many pictures and the GoPro video is taking an age to pull off the camera

After seeing Matt’s nifty little beeline moto I fancied one myself. That was until I saw the price so instead opted for these quad lock cases/mounts to use with my phone. I’ve got the vibration dampener on there too and because it’s all shoved over next to the brake fluid reservoir it actually doesn’t look too out of place. Pretty happy with that.

Are there any apps that provide routes for bikers??

Several of the YouTube motorcycle vloggers I follow use Calimoto and often rave about it. Never tried it myself, I use a TomTom bike SatNav and Google maps and streetview for planning routes.
