So she finally found a place in my garage.

    My first ditchpumping Rubbercow

First impressions? Well it is good that I actually type this, because talking to you about the /5 would be hard
    due to all the drooling...

For the next 1000 klicks, I have to run her in (1st/50, 2nd/70, 3rd/90, 4th/110, 5th/125 and finally 6th with 140)... Are they kidding me? Never went up to 50 Km/h in first gear

Anyway: the engine is a peach! The sound is very throaty and brassy at the same time. Suspension up front a little stiffer than on the Svartpilen and in the rear comfortable with a touch of sportiness.

When you start those air cooled boxers, they lean softly against your right leg due to the counter-torque effect. A very pleasant sensation.

You sit a little more ‘collected’ than on the Bonnie, but still quite upright and relaxed. The seat is fine as well although I just took her home (about 60 Km) yesterday.

And today the sun is out, and so will I be

It is Unificationschnickschnackday today in Germania and so they gave us a holiday!
Guess all the other kids will be out to play as well :mask:

I try to behave like a proper Ungerman should...

Congrats mate, I love my R9T  I’m sure you will too.
It’s a lovely engine, lots of low down grunt for a nice relaxed ride. :grinning:
Just hope that the seat is a bit more forgiving than the standard one on mine.

Yes it is a beauty. I can see by that grin you are loving it. Now go and get that running in done.

That looks stunning Daniel, I've probably said this before but I'd have the R9T over the R1250R any day as it just has so much character and is also a very accomplished bike that defies it's retro looks. Is it lupin blue? I loved the look of the R1200RS in that colour but sadley they don't do it in the 1250:pensive:
Soooooo, what are you going to do to keep her looking so nice, will it be ACF50, FS 365 or are you going to keep her in your bedroom:laughing:

    Enjoy mate;)

Did think of purchasing a r9t but you can’t load proper luggage onto it so it would be only a gimmick bike

Yes it is, with the white lines handdrawn. Like the 75/5 from 1969.
    Great color.

Not so fast my little Munchkin.....

BMW do a rear softbag and tankbag with an option of brown leather to match Daniel's Lederhosen, though the price might be a little salty for your Yorkshire wallet:p

I got some Krauser luggage for mine, it works great. Just 4 bolts to fit the mounting frame and the bags slip and latch on. :grinning:

You can’t see it very clearly here unfortunately. They’re C-bow luggage, Hepco&Becker make them I think, then they’re rebranded
