So I removed the battery per owners manual, to remove the worthless passenger pegs on my street triple. Now service now light comes on no start no nothing. Reset all the defaults on the menu.

Ok went thru all menus and reset all defaults again, finally started. Service today light is still on but I only need to click off 100 miles to get to the scheduled 500 mile service. Dealership is closed today, will call them 1st thing in the morning.

Two more starts from cold to hot will clear it, or if it’s due for service ignore it, let them reset it when it’s serviced.

You can reset the service indicator in the TFT menus on the 765's.
    No tools or software required.

Here you go OPP for future info

    Just for info.
I switched the ignition on to take this picture (inside the garage) but then got side tracked by my youngest riding his trials bike. I came back some time later, maybe 20 - 30 minutes and the headlights were bright but just as I got to it the dash died . So low voltage seems to effect the dash first.

I placed it back on the Optimate and an hour or so later it was all back to normal. :p

Thanks Eldon, called the dealer yesterday morning to book my 500 mile service for Friday, they said it was fine to ride. Decent temperature last night so I cranked off 67 miles in 60 minutes. Temps tonight we're 39 C.
