    Can I be your friend? I have a '67 TR6; a '70 T120 and a '71 TR6 that would look REALLY nice in that exclusive darkman ""Creme de la Creme finish ....... :)

    Kind words thanks, i'm now starting to do bigger jobs for friends as after not working for 8 years as i was a carer for our parents at 63 years old i need to earn a bit as my pension isn't due for a few years and i'm too old to get another job :-( on the bright side its work i enjoy :)

    Well it's a dog, trap n sump filter blocked, wrong head fitted but cases ok :)

    I had a super sports back in the 70s the tank was in metallic turquoise blue, with a rack.
    I loved that bike,so I’ll be keeping a keen eye on this thread.

    Would it have been a 68 SS in Aquamarine over Silversheen ?

    It was a 68 SS Aquamarine,but not sure what it was over..
    I’ve got a vague recollection of cream but there again it could have been silver?
    It had a TPR reg which was Dorset

    As far as i know some models had all Aquamarine tanks but most had silver on lower tank with white stripes Tom, don't quote me though lol

    The ones that retain their oil within the sump do.
    The ones that operate a total loss oil system don't.
    I believe it was a safety feature that was built in?
    No puddles under the bike = time to put some oil in :cool: :p
