    FUND - a local dialect spelling and pronucication of the word FOUND, but said with a good West of Scotland accent

    ie - used in the childhood celebratory call of - "Ah jist FUND a durrtae mag, doon in thae woods"

    Once read something like that written by an English lad who went to a boarding school in Germany in the late 50s when those pants where pretty popular not only in Bavaria...
    ...and before Jeans and Harley took over from America ;)).
