How do I proceed, the cruise control appears to be a button to nowhere. What do I check next. Don’t know if it ever worked. The whirring in the front braking, hmmm hate taking these calipers off to check the bearings.

I jacked it up. Tight, feels good while spinning. Going to just run the hell out of it till it breaks.

Guess I could actually take it to a dealer. I’ve never had a bike new enough to take to the dealer...

Read in another thread...going to try a “long push “ of the cruise button.

D0222783-07A0-483D-A6BD-892453A620DB.jpeg Nothing at all...50 mph in 5th gear..long push multiple pushes...no indicators on the gauges to indicate a cruise control. I’m thinking someone added the left control to fit cruise to the bike and failed. Other than that, this is the smoothest, easiest and almost fastest bike I have ever owned.

The manual only mentions the cruise control.

I do keep finding things to try here on the forum....such as this little dance...

    1. Turn on the ignition.
    2. Apply the front brake.
    3 Apply the rear brake.
    4. Apply the clutch.
    5. Close the throttle hard.
    6. Press the cruise control button.

Then it should work...will give it a try.

Cruise control is 1 press for ON and a 2nd press to activate. Need to be in 3rd or above to activate.

Interesting read, thanks. When the bike shop is deemed essential, I’ll give them a visit. Would love to have the dealer shop manuals...

I am so ready for this bullshit pandemic to be over with!
