Here is a thing that has got me slightly confused and I was hoping you knowledgeable types could assist with an answer. My bike was a wee bit sluggish starting the other day (purely because I left a device on i think) however when I was looking at my battery (as supplied on the bike from the dealer) I noted that it is a Yuasa YTX12-BS. When I look up my Haynes manual it states that the correct battery for a Sprint GT is the YTX14-BS. A similar search through the Halfords website tells me the same thing. Has my bike been originally supplied with the wrong battery?
Sorry BF I didn't see it initially but yes, of course you did. According to the owners handbook the battery spec is: 12v, 12 a/h so that would accord with a Yuasa YTX12-BS.
