Just gloves, a basic apron and a surgical mask. Not body suits, over shoes, goggles or face shield. Result = After 5 weeks working with covid19 patients, discovered yesterday I'm positive and come down with symptoms..... Fucking Politicians, Civil Servants and DoH ........ Still, at least I won't have to catheterise anyone for a week or two, had more dicks in my hands recently than the local hooker.

I guess there will be lots of lesson to be learnt from the crisis. Given that the rest of the world (apart from Germany it would seem) have suffered similar problems to the UK, would any government have behaved any better? I guess we will never know, so best to keep looking forward to fix the problems, rather than looking back at the moment. There will plenty of time for that when we come out the other side of this.

A bit of journalistic licence from the ST? Probably. The entire Government were obviously slow out of the blocks. Blame will attach in due course. How far back to you go? The crash that lead to austerity that thinned out already small PPE stockpiles and trimmed public health provision, Chinese disinformation and denials, Brexit blocking in Parliament and a December election? Brexit exhaustion and fixation coupled with BoJo’s domestic distractions and mixed messaging from Government scientific advisors.......? Hindsight comes easy to those with no responsibility. We need Parliament back at work to hold the Government to account. A proper inquiry will come downstream.
