Yeah, had to be Everoak - none of this cheap Stadium or Centurion sh1te. no offence intended to ANYONE who might have bought that low end rubbish! Remember the Everoak Grand Prix - all white fibreglass shell, leather trim, felt like it weighed a ton compared to the cheapo stuff - like, say - oooh, I dunno ..... a Centurion 2000, say? I mean, who'd have bothered? I do recall buying one of the early Charles Owen Mastergarde Domes from a motorcycle show at Earls Court. Think they were Britain's first full face helmet. Seems there's more than a few "retro" styles coming oout now that are very similar. Nothing new under the sun, I guess.
My first road lid was a Bell Phill Read replica, again like all thie classics we crashed or threw away. I’d love to have it now
My first helmet was a Bell End... I still have it and polish it regularly for display purposes . My old lady reckons I should stop using it because it comes off too easily if I’m going fast
Whatever it was it was big enough to break the left foot peg assembly and the bike hasn’t been on its side yet
