Whilst perusing the wiring diagram for my 2010 Speedy, I came across a notice for ‘GPS socket (2010 only)’

Does anyone have any further info? E.g why only 2010? Where It is? Is it useful etc....Before I go tearing the bike apart.. (got enough to do as it is!)

Nope, that's a new one on me...and I've owned x4 of these bikes.
On the later Bonneville LT version there was apparently the option of a power socket...but I've never seen that either.

I have one on my bike - hangs off R side (facing forward) and is kind of like a cigarette lighter socket (12V power supply). Great for plugging a GPS in, but we all use phones these days.

Hangs near carbs - easy to unplug from lead so maybe fell off somewhere along the line?

Looking at your diagram, I suspect I'm wrong, and what I have is the accessory socket?
