When I had my Sprint955 I had it all sprayed in the tvr purple can't remember the name now. But it was terrific. Of course I worked for ICI Autocolor then so it was cheap as chips. But boy did that bike stand out. Really colour is a personal thing and no one can help you make up your mind as you will never really convince your self. I feel you want something individual that is something only you have. The only thing I would say is get replacement body work and store the originals. Then you can change back if you decide to sell or change. I found it when I had the sprint no one wanted it because of the colour and dealers would only give me a stupid deal to trade. Ride Safe Joe.
I keep a selection of colour schemes as ideas for work I do, try these..... Mainly picked the ones contrasting white.
REPOOH. Just want to make it clear. That when I said about the Black it was only in jest. Your Bike your choice. Ride Safe Joe
I think I’m going to give this a go - I’ve asked Herts Triumph if they can get hold of a set for me. It’s something that’s bothered me from day one, actually.
Well, I’ve ordered the side panels in matt black today, and I guess I can pick them up when my bike goes in for its 500 mile service shortly. I think my plan then is to leave the fenders as they are, and have a classic black and off-white Bonnie paint job on the tank and call it a day at that. Oh, I’m going to get the black intake covers too. Thoughts on that plan, anyone? I’m thinking that 8 Ball Custom can do it for me. Edit: I'm adding the black headlamp bezel and cage from the Scrambler, too
I've heard mixed feedback on 8Ball, Surrey Customs are allegedly good, there are plenty in and around the smoke
There a chap that sprays for Jack Lillys and he is fantastic. Phone them and get his details. He also sprays all the BMW Paris Dakar bits and a lot of Mc Claren fi stuff. Ride Safe Joe
Learningtofly Yes I worked that out later after my meds. And you are welcome. That's what its all about. Ride Safe Joe.
