Having some time off work, I decided to clean my Speed. It really really needed it after using it through winter (which I won't be doing again!). I also added some wheel stripes and put some 'R' pin stripes on...

    Comments/feedback welcome :upyeah:

Looks great, any issues with condition of fixings and brake banjos with riding it through the winter?

Yes, a few bolts were tarnished so I had to replace some and use some elbow grease with the old autosol on the others.

    Looks well !

I think the overall finish on the speed is really good

I got a bit of tarnishing on the oil cooler connecter and some marks on the headers and that's it.

It says in the manual that the exhaust system should be cleaned every ride and to use motorex 645 rubbed into the surface to keep the warranty validated, shame previous owner didn't listen.

The motorex spray does help keep bits shiny and preserve the finish, but so does WD40, which is just as expensive nowadays!

Nice to see a black speed with red wheels stripes on, wondered how it would look on mine, nice touch:)
