Gonna grab the first available ferry, wherever it goes... I have looked at the weather forecast though so might bring waterproofs after all! :D

Wow, good on you, Hippo-Drones! It's just not in my nature to be this freewheeling. I'm a planner at heart. My last trip was the one to Sturgis last month and it was me and four men. Their idea of "planning" was more like my idea of freewheeling. :p I would like to learn to at least lean a bit more in the direction of "luck and a coin to flip"! I do find it a bit ironic, however, that you started your post with "Planning an adventure". Just a wee bit of planning, eh? ;)

Hahaha, this is my idea of planning ahead... put wallet and phone in pocket, jump on bike... see where I end up! :D

Definitely a spork. But then, as I mentioned earlier in this thread, I'm a planner. ;)

Gosport? About 20 mins for the round trip. It is a pedestrian ferry but they do take motorcycles - hardly worth it......
