I am thinking of getting some aluminium checker plate to reinforce the wooden floor of a shed in the area where the center and side stands go. Has anyone tried that? Thought about doing the whole area under the bike, but concerned it may be slippery if I push a wet or damp bike in. Not sure what guage to use or if aluminium would be hard enough and it need to be steel.
