what dimwit decided to stop taking cash donations for certain charities wtf, today air ambulance charity in Lidl i went to give a few pound coins only he didn't want my cash, expected me to give my bank details to set up a direct debit i give nobody those details however good the charity what a backwards step i can see much loss of funding for these people sadly.

It's just as bad in some museums - "normal entrance is £6 but if you give us £8.50 we can claim gift aid on top from the government". I usually suggest at that point they ask for gift aid on the £6 and stop assuming I cannot count!
