Hi all, Has anyone out there in the ether put a 525 chain on a 2016-18 model Street Twin? I've been looking at options of lengthening the gear ratios as I've got a chain and sprocket replacement coming up so have the opportunity to give it a go. I run in 5th gear for most of my commute and adding a taller 5th gear makes life much more comfortable, so I've read on another Triumph Rat forum (link below - beware it gets nerdy!) https://www.triumphrat.net/water-cooled-twins-technical-talk/749922-street-twin-sprocket-switch.html Having spent time on the phone with JT Sprockets, the dimensions of the sprockets used on the 1200 Thruxton/T120 models are the same, but with a 525 pitch chain as opposed to a 520. The additional width which comes with the 525 is where the main question marks sit for me - will it work? Tom
