Just coming up to 500 miles and chain is getting slack, so time to adjust the chain,. I find the tightest point and adjust equally each side, but the alignment marks are well off, so I realign, bad move. The adjusters are a poor design and alter position depending on whether you are tightening or untightening the wheel spindle at the time. Now the chain appears to be rubbing somewhere inside the swinging arm tunnel, so I'm trying to get back to the original wheel position before I adjusted it, but its a bit of a guess really. Any ideas? I am concerned if it rubs too hard on the swinging arm it might cause damage, so I might get the dealer to pick it up, sounds a bit of a cop out though. I had a Daytona 675 2006 for years with no issues and many other bikes, so I'm not sure, what is going on here.
