Sadly you can but it’s also good to support a British bike. If you like them and money isn’t a major concern but exclusivity is then they may just be for you.

Very true mate, saying that think I'll be saving my hard earned £8000 for something a little better. As you say different strokes, horses for courses and all that!;)

I ordered one of the first batch at the Excel show last year and paid the 50% deposit at Easter for a June delivery. Second payment was due at the beginning of June but delivery had already drifted to 'probably' September. I made a decision then to get a complete refund as I had no confidence in a chap called John Drogan who was in charge. The delivery date then drifted to December and as far as I know none have yet been delivered. It looks to me like CCM are using their customers money to finance their business and manufacture, I am glad I steered clear.

Not my style at all, and it does indeed sound like CCM are using customers money as working capital. Norton have had some very adverse publicity as well, lately, I’m afraid that “buying a British machine” only goes so far.

CCM originally stood for Clews Competition Motorcycles, after all.. like Cheney and Rickman, they sold actual race winners in those days.

    Hi all
I remember the CCM moto crosser well from my teens. I think it was the only thumper amongst all the 2 strokes at the time

flat tracker is the only one that i like all the features on,but starting at £9995 come on for a 600cc single no matter how cool is too much.

They look great in my opinion. I paid in full last August for a supposed September delivery for a spitfire scrambler. However due to every delivery date passing by I cancelled my order a few months ago and got my money back. Also the bike had seriously changed from the bike that I saw at the bike shed show last may. Different forks, brakes, tyres, tank and the overal cost of the bike started to jump up with extras that were needed to finish it off. I think that they still have a huge problem with getting the fuel tank sorted and sourced. It would appear that only a hand full of bikes have actually been delivered from the original run of 150 for the first spitfire. However on the plus side I bought a customised street cup instead and love it. 500 miles in 8 days.

I've had mine 3 months now and it's awesome! It's just stunning, I know of one being sold on for £14k and currently 5 on eBay for between £12 - £15k. Nothing but rave reviews on TV and press, you may have missed out and made a mistake dropping out?

I put my name down for the original Spitfire last year then realised I would prefer to build my own custom so cancelled!
As it turns out I prefer the Flat tracker anyway......
Is anybody actually buying at £14k off ebay???
