Good powerful and nimble - but in my opinion GSX1400 they hold value and are increasing in value.

Had an 05 model, no fairing, loved it, and it was a nice handling bike given it’s weight and pretty basic suspension. Didn’t give me an ounce of trouble but the ally parts suffered with the lacquer failing on the gen cover and the one on the opposite side in front of the clutch, can’t remember what it was called now.

Had the fairing version and it rode nice but it was a sleepy ride as it never made my heart leap. Out of the big four a few said it’s the nicest. I also had an xjr1300 which handled better. I can’t believe how much it is as I sold my 2005 one for £3400 in 2012!!

I had a 2003 model, sold it to my mate 8 years ago & he still has it.I rode it again on the weekend as he tried out my Speed Triple .
It seemed a lot heavier than I remember but when on the move it handles a lot better than anything that big should, cornering should be planned well in advance as it does not like quick changes in direction,.If pushed it gives lots of warning & starts to wallow, it's a big comfy bus has 116HP & 86lb/ft of torque.
It never let me down in the seven years I had it.
