Can't see a thread on this Gentleman so I thought I would start one. The man is an inspiration to everyone one and I'm proud to say he comes from my home town.
Last time I looked he had raised over £14 million.
    Absolutely amazing.

Just been on the thread of awesomeness. SleepyOwl has put his song on there. You know it has brought a tear to my eyes. For many reasons as that song means so much to so many.
    Regards
    Joe.

I lost my mum to pneumonia in 2017 and my FIL to Covid on VE Day last year so my thoughts are very much with this lovely man and I really hope he can get through it.
Love and prayers to him and his family.

He has a better chance than most of his age due to his fighting spirit.
Hope we see him soon trundling round his yard again.

A great sadness to us all. A man who heroically lived a life of service to others. And the type of man rarely seen today.
