    Well......
yours is quite good less the Keighley bit. I would possibly run round the back of Haworth and end up by Wycoller @Laneshaw Bridge then into Carleton via Skipton old road just before Skipton.

My other option would be similar veering off at Steeton> Silsdon>Addingham> Bolton Abbey>Pateley Bridge> Masham where Theakstons and Blacksheep breweries are >Bedale> Catterick and catching either the A68 early or having a play on the A167 before the A68.
Option 3 would have been follow some other bugger!!

Oh a word of warning, if anyone is caught out and needs to have a piss on a bush at Catterick then don't be surprised if the 'bush' just walks away afterwards as it a massive military training area!!

Do you want to meet at mine or do you need refreshments and want to meet at the Oil Can cafe (google it) on the A616? I'm near there anyway btw

That sounds good,I expect I'll need a small snack by the time I get there.
And everybody else seems to be travelling from cafe to cafe.

I'm hoping to be at Squires late Friday morning - assuming SWMBO has been safely delivered by me to the railway station to catch her train to Cheltenham or Gloucester (it keeps changing!) - to put some faces to names, if anyone drops in.
If no-one calls in, then I'll just sit there twiddling my thumbs and sulking quietly to myself: unamused:. This is always assuming that I do actually get there.:worried:

Not able to make it to Bellingham - I'm fine over shortish distances but after that I struggle with the beta blockers and their side effects. Well, that's what I keep blaming. Nothing dangerous, but bloody tiring on occasions! Some days I'm completely fine but on others it can be a bit of a struggle, so I tend to err on the side of caution.
I just thought it would be nice to meet with anyone passing through as you good folk set off for a couple of days sin and debauchery in deepest darkest Northumberland. You may be well past Squires by the time I'm able to get there anyway - still depends on which train SWMBO catches, though late morning still looks possible if all goes well.
    Sorry if I gave a wrong impression!

No, my fault I got the wrong impression. I thought I hadn't seen your name mentioned for the GMU. I was going to make a detour to Squires if we were then going to carry on up'tut'norf so to speak. I'll just regress to my initial route. My wife says I'm really good at regressing, so that's what I'll do.
Re Beta Blockers, I used to have those years ago before I retired. There was a girl in the office, much younger that me, bit of a fitness freak. She measured my pulse one day, it was about 50. She said "blimey, you're really fit". I said "you're not bad yourself". About a year later she had a nasty ski accident in a collision with another person, got a serious head injury, was off work for eighteen months, came back speaking very slowly, didn't last long, had to give up work. Shame.
