Is it possible to fit a T140 or T160 tank on a 91 trident frame without too much fuss?

    Hi Ian and welcome.

Never heard of it being done before, but many things are possible with a little imagination, ingenuity, skill and luck!

Do you know of anyone with those tanks who would be willing to let you borrow them to see how they would possibly fit and look? Better than buying one and finding the fit to be impossible.

My initial thoughts would be that the Trident top frame tube may be too big to get a T140 or T160 tank over it.:(

I would have to agree with Steve's last line, I very much doubt it will fit

Have to agree with Steve as well - I'm sure the top frame tube will be too big for the tank.

Hello, what you ask is not possible without a huge amount of cutting pieces out of the tank.
    I own a Trident / Sprint and a T140 V .
    Yours Doug.

Had the same idea for my bobber project, T140 is close, but no cigar. I've settled for a T'bird Sport tank instead to minimise the f***ing-about.
