Well after an eventful first season in road racing the Bandit has gone, off to new owner Paul, best of luck to him for next season in the Bandit Challenge with Formula Prostocks. Meanwhile my new challenge is with the Aprilia RSVR in the Battle of the Twins

I'm afraid it's well known in Aprilia circles that the only snack of note, and therefore the only colours it would perform well in, is Jaffa Cakes :cool:

    Congrat on the sale Billy.
But after it being a race bike for at least 2 seasons (didn't you buy it from a racer?) I'm surprised it was worth much as a complete bike?
Wouldn't you have got more by breaking it up for spares?

Not really mate, Bandits are in plentiful supply, so spares are quite cheap, ones that have already had all the mods done & ready to race save a lot of time & money.
The bike has done 2 seasons, but in hours it has run you are talking 2.5 hrs per race weekend, plus a couple of track days so maybe 50 hours over the 2 seasons. Bandit racers treat an engine as a consumable, you can go on e-bay & pick up a replacement for less than £200.
