As the title suggests Triumph Peterborough have one for sale in case anyone on here fancies spending £23k including watch lol https://webbsmotorcycles.co.uk/triumph-speed-twin-pbn05887/
A fine looking watch and motorcycle, but we'll out of my league. Often thought that there is a space for a watch designed for bikers, but then I can only see mine in the summer with short gloves on.. The main things a bikers watch needs to be is rugged, thin so it sits under winter gloves and have a good contrast with uncluttered display. I reckon the G-Shock does pretty well, these versions are 11mm thick;
I had a lovely and simple really thin £20 waterproof Casio analogue watch with rubber strap for years but the mechanism finally packed up a few months ago. Now I always have a phone with me and both bikes have clocks, I don’t bother wearing one now.
Before you get too keen on the watch just be aware that :- The Caliber 23 movement is not made by Breitling. None of the Top Time movements are. I very much doubt that the strap is made by Breitling It is only splashproof with a 3 atmosphere rating It doesn’t have the hour sub-dial that others in the range have. At £4.5k I think it is overpriced. From the above you may think me a true Breitling critic, not so, I have admired their Navitimers for the last 50 years.
Something strange going on here. Exactly the same response from the same forum member has been posted on the “Workshop Manual” thread. BECAUSE THIS IS SPAM. ALL OF HIS TWENTY POSTS ARE THE SAME, NOTHING TO DO WITH BIKES
