On today's tour we wanted to test our new acquisition, a SUP (Stand-Up-Paddling-Board). After we were on the road with our travel bikes last week, we wanted to ride our Bonnies again today.
We decided on a light SUP so that we could take it with us on the bikes. With all the additional equipment, it weighs just over 12 kg. Nevertheless, it has a load capacity of 170 kg.
As always, I carry our burdens. With the large transport bag, which you carry like a backpack, it wasn't a problem. So today we went to our favorite lake, the "Erlaufsee". Even at highway speed it went quite well.
Our journey for the more than 120 km took us two hours. Once we arrived at the lake we pumped up our SUP in a few minutes.
We had a lot of fun on the "high seas" with the board.
In between we strengthened us with coffee and cake at the local bistro.
After another trip with the SUP we still enjoyed the wonderful weather. Emptying and packing the SUP was also no problem. It took us only a few minutes and then we were able to start our return journey home.
Today we rode 240 km on our Bonnies and had lots of fun on the SUP.
    In the following some impressions.
