Have you considered using TUNE ECU ? It's a free downloadable program that - with a cable - you can connect your laptop to the ECU in your bike to check for fault codes and general running. You can also check which version of the fuelling map is in your bike. Get Tune ECU from here : http://www.tuneecu.com/TuneECU_En/index.html and the specific connecting cable from here : http://www.triumphtwinpower.com/ttp-obd-2-usb-cable.php With this kit you can if you choose to,change the fuelling map in your bike.
I booked it into the Triumph dealer and paid £400+ for the 12000ml service, but it seems to have done the trick, getting 130 plus mls before fuel light comes on, so seems to be back to normal, thanks for the help everyone
139 miles tonight before the fuel light started flickering, filled it after 15 mins of light coming on, put in 12 litres, so still had 2 litres left in the tank, happy days
