Just joined the Forum. Rode bikes when young (Norton,Triumph,BSA etc.)
10 years ago bought a 2003 Sprint ST which was great. So different and so much better from my bikes back in the 60's.I then had two new knees fitted and could not bend them beyond 90 deg.so changed it for a 2013 Triumph T100. This still was not easy on my knees so I fitted forward controls (see photo) and now at the ripe old age of 73 it is a very comfortable to ride.

Welcome Mike. Good to have a young feller admitted to bring down the average age round the wards here.

Nice modification on a lovely looking bike. Similar problems here too with my ST - hips in my case.

Not my riding style either. Better to ride with forward pegs than not at all!!!

    Hi
    Jeremiah here
I have a 2013 T 100 and I need to fit it up like yours
I had a new knee and have limited range of motion
Was yours a kit or home made
    It looks very professional
Did you do it or have it done
    Thanks a lot
    Jeremiah

This is turning into TKR Central!

I had both knees done some years ago and whatever the merits of Mike’s T100 mods (I had one too) you should not quit flexing those prosthetics. The limited movement comes not from the new joint but tightened ligaments that wasted with the old. Stretching and strengthening exercises pay dividends in all walks (ta-boom!) of life. I still give mine a work out. I know it’s easy to say but it really does maximise the benefit of some pretty major surgery.

@Jeremiah I dont't think you're going to get an answer from Mike anytime soon - he was last seen on here over two years ago.
Welcome in, by the way

Jeremiah, as Vulpes said earlier Linden Mike has not been on this site for over 2 years now so he is very unlikely to answer your question.

Hi Jeremiah and welcome to the forum  Looking forward to seeing your ride, best of luck with the knee.
Bonneville Speedmaster/Bobber have a forward kit, but it would have to be mated to the frame.
