Hi ,I have a 2006 ,790 cc bonny with a Bob Farnham 900 cc conversion. It's done 86000 miles and always serviced on time, uses no oil. Recently I've been getting the oil pressure alarm come on in slow ,heavy traffic .
Being optimistic I'm hoping it's the oil pressure release valve and not the main bearings etc.Is it possible to do an oil pressure check by means of a remote oil pressure gauge..and where would I plumb it to the engine??
    All idease welcome

Easiest is remove the oil pressure switch and plumb the gauge in there.
Your problem is probably only a faulty oil pressure switch, they don't last forever. The switch is only £12 from Fowlers parts so I'd try that first. Part number is T1210504.

Yes sounds like a good start there. Do let us all know the result. In the meantime do hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show the inmates the steed. And of course welcome to the family.
    Joe.
