The BBC has always promoted it's clean, always right, can be trusted image, ever since it was born. Even to this day, if you look to the bottom of it's web page, there is a link "why you can trust the bbc". There's an old saying something along the lines of "if you say something often enough, people will start to believe you", so it is with the BBC. I even had one of my grandchildren come home from school a couple of years ago saying her teacher had told her that the only news you can trust is the BBC ! Needless to say, I corrected this error in her learning.
Great sentiment mate, but morons don't seem to have much in the way of common sense ...... and there are a lot of morons out there!
Personally, I support the loosening of restrictions, the economy needs it, but acknowledge we need to prepare for a second wave, which is very likely - can't see why anyone would argue against being prepared. Does that make me a Gamflake of a Snowmon ? DS
Or Go Boomer? I agree mate, we have to go back to some kind of normality or there will be nothing left to go to! Even though I have had it, I am still cautious about distance when I go anywhere, don't think I will be in any great rush to go to the pub.

BBC 1 News, this evening, George Aligiah '.........in 1945 the Soviets won the second world war' ........anybody else spot that? No other participants mentioned. Is that satisfactory/factual/responsible reporting?
Just to go along with the general theme. The best way to understand what is going on at the BBC is to look at the background of the journalists. One example, Sarah Smith on R4 - daughter of John Smith - wonder which way she will lean. There are so many more examples.
Spineless barstewards tradition means nothing for them, this country is due a shitstorm if they keep this up the right will rise and all hell will break loose.
