This is meant as a bit of a plug for company I used to manufacture a pair of stands for my Thruxton. Gee-tech fabrications can be found on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/www.Geetechfabs/ The standard of workmanship is very high, they lift the bike very easily and are very stable, everything you need a stand to be. I've had some disappointments with other brands in the past and had a bike fall while lifting so was happy to pay a premium for these. These are not dirt cheap but are first class in terms of quality. The headstock has posts to hang calipers from during a wheel change, a nice touch.
