Had a hard back copy for Christmas, signed by both Lee and Andrew Child.
I have always enjoyed Reacher stories, pure escapism and hard to put down.
I am sorry to say that I am struggling somewhat with this offering, it's not what I was hoping for.
I know Lee Child is reported to have retired and handed the reins over to his younger brother Andrew, but looks like some fine tuning is required.
Anyone else read this latest book, any views?

I haven't read the latest one, or for that matter most of them. I read the first book in the series and then bought someone the following books but tbh I got bored after the first 4 or 5. The one man army thing wasn't working for me, liked the first ones tho. Hope Lee sees sense and takes the reins back for you to enjoy again.

I've read every Jack Reacher book except for this new one, @curly. I'm disappointed to know that you found it lacking. I'll still read it but I've really been looking forward to it and hope that I like it better than it sounds like you did. Thanks for the opinion post!
