Just because we are senior citizens we are not all old dithering or dribbling!!
I insure my house and contents with Saga and have the same deal as Littlede, 3 years of cover at the same annual price.

    Saga will accept over 50's!!

Yeah the seat is just like seats used to be when I was a teenager, plush and comfy. The bike I test rode before buying had the "low" seat which was better for me but I went for comfort in the end with the standard seat.

I also am with Bennetts and have always been able to get them to bring their renewal down to the comparison site quote until last year when I phoned them and said the renewal was too high. They told me that they could not bring it down to the comparison site quote so suggested I cancelled my policy with them and take out the new one so still with Bennetts but a new policy at least they didn't ask me to to prove my no claims years heho.

April is my renewal and now with 2 bikes I will have to see what happens.

I want to find an insurer who will not have the 500 metre rule from the house just because it's garaged

I first had a strop with them and said they were trying to get me killed as I would have to try and fight of any thieves if they attempted to steal my bike. In the end they said that if I was at the bike and it was stolen then the actuaries would make a decision on an individual basis, implying they would pay out and I got that in writing. I have stuck with Bennetts as their prices have been great and also I have won their BSB competitions twice, Knockhill and Assen and they were worth about £400 each time as it was for 2 and friggin amazing, Assen was stunning and the drive in the safety car brilliant.

However I will seriously look to see what Bee Moto have to offer in April

I renewed this year with Hastings, 2 bikes and both garaged. The theft condition is if a bike is stolen from within 500m of the house while not in a locked garage the excess is doubled but cover not excluded. Not a bad compromise.

I was Hastings, car and bike for years. Most years you have to mess about to get the renewal down, is all.
