Well we also enacted as partisans. I liked that part as well because 1) You were a 'good' German 2) You did not need a uniform (and we did look like partisans anyway all of the time ) Yeah Jez, those were the days: the world still was black and white, good and evil and your phantasy ruled. I remember myself sitting in an old rusty barrel pretending it was a fighter-plane with a way too large leather motorcycle cap on my head and goggles on... You cannot buy this with money
...I have to admit, I have been on the NineT-website for way too many times... could you please send an exorcist...
I liked being a German, they always had the best tanks, guns and planes !!! Fortunately in kids fantasy world, high quality/ low production numbers did not matter And uniforms with skulls on and black leather, they must have known they were the baddies, but they looked cool I am sure you can read into this , hope no child psychologists on here
As a Kid a friend of mine painted his tortoises shell to look like a German helmet. it did look funny .
Hugo Boss designed some of uniforms! The Panzer "wrap" tank commanders jacket was the inspiration for the classic British biker jacket of the 60's.
