I have Avon Storms on my T120. I haven’t put many miles on them yet, but so far I like them much more than the stock tires. I immediately noticed that they tip into corners much easier and they track much cleaner on roads with grooves.
Got the AM26 Roadriders on my Bonny very pleased with them for the price grip well ok in the wet and seem to be lasting out ok
See also previous thread on here a while ago now some useful info https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/avon-am26-roadriders.10495/
Thanks mate, think I read that review when trying to decide what option to go for, I've had a pair fitted now so will see how the fair.
Had them fitted to my 4XV 98 R1, no issues with them. Got them over to the edge and never had a scary moment.
Just to add a little more to this, for others down the line. I've had my Tracer for 15,000 kms now and still on the original tyres which continue to please, in terms of all weather grip and longevity - Michelin Pilot Road 4. They've done all sorts of different work and I've NEVER had any squeaky ring moments with them and will be replacing with the same again.
Best tyres you will ever have But then I would say that as they are going to be paying my pension If they are good enough to be OE on the Rocket then you will have no worries mate.
